Sunday Lunch for Newly Flatmates
March 18, 2007
Let me introduce Han (left), Paul (standing) and Simon (drinking).
Han works in Financial services and HR recruitment – if you want to know how to succeed in an interview he is the man who knows. He is well traveled. Since we moved in we were not able to have this first flatmates dinner until he got back. Why? Because he is off jet-setting around the world. Since he moved in he has been to no less to than 3 different countries, well i’m not sure, lost count. He has a T-shirt from all the countries his visited, which is alot, “I got this in LA, I got this in….” Well he has quite a collection of clothes, none of them bought in UK, and seems like he doesn’t need them all, probably going to sell them on Brick Lane. So see you there
Paul was a fitness fanatic, is a great cook and likes a good party. He had a flat in Malaysia which featured in a national magazine for it’s Balinese themed interior. Haven’t seen the pictures yet though. Moved on from his hectic international Marketing career to chilled and relaxing one as the Cafe/Bar manager of the gallery downstairs. He makes the best coffee on this side of London, even better if they are made from Malaysian beans. I love waking up to the smell of his fragrant lemon grass/saffron basmati rice, which he occasionally cooks before work. Lovely.
Simon has split personalities, he doesn’t know when to quit being Irish or Spanish. An Irish/Englishman raised in Spain. A good ol’ laugh and a talented artist, perfect! I thought I was famous for my pancakes, but this guy takes the cake, a pancake+chocolate sauce genius, hats off! A well cultured and knowledgeable man. He even knows a little about fixed gears bikes. Did I mention, I will build one for him…….. Keep you posted……
